Here my Reikland Mercenaries battle with the Undead. In this scenario we had to occupy certain treasure filled tombs (buildings) across the table.
I spread my forces too thinly and was overwhelmed by the superior numbers of the zombie horde. Fear is a frustrating component in Mordheim freezing warriors when supporting charges are needed and reducing the ability to hit.
Also the vampire is a combat beast.
Above my swordsman has made it first the objective but now must hold against a shambling mass of deceased soldiery. He didn't ... but doesn't Siegfried look good doing it (I use him to represent a swordsman in my mercenaries.)
